RIVA’s nanoSKY systems are available in two configurations:  permanent installation by qualified aircraft maintenance personnel or in a small travel case which contains everything needed to provide in-flight mobile phone voice and data services.  RIVA has designed and flight tested a full function “carry-on” mobile phone networks that are small, lightweight, flight safe and need only an Ethernet connection to the aircraft’s data service to deliver two-way voice, text messages and 3G data communications while in flight.
